A Special Invitation!
Attention all children and youth between the ages of 5 and 17, you are invited to attend Sunday School at Markham Bible Chapel!
Each Sunday morning between 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. we offer a program specifically geared to children and youth. Who knows, you might even meet your friends from AWANA, the Summer Day Camp or from your school.
Here is the deal!
Plan to arrive at 11 a.m. and you will be in time for a great opening, featuring music, a quiz or special youth activity. Next, we head to our classes to learn about the Bible.
Lesson Plan
We just love the Bible! Don’t you? There are so many fascinating stories and lessons for us to learn it would take a lifetime to really get into it. However, we only have one hour per week available so this is the plan. We are using a curriculum developed by New Tribes Mission (NTM) entitled FIRM FOUNDATIONS – Creation to Christ, Children’s Edition. It uses the Bible as the text book and every lesson points us to God and His Word. Children will gain an overall understanding of the Bible, who God is and what He has done. There is no particular denominational bias – just what the Bible teaches.
No Strings Attached
Just to be absolutely clear on one thing. There is no requirement for you or your children to join our church or become members in order to attend the Sunday School. Classes are open to all children regardless of your background or religion. We didn’t write the Bible or own the copyright. We do however think it is a great book to study together. Also, there is no fee for attending Sunday School and all materials are provided free to the children.
